Vonnie Quinn is a multi-platform anchor for Bloomberg’s First Word. She is also the host of “Bloomberg Opinion.”

Previously, Quinn anchored “Bloomberg Markets: Americas” on Bloomberg TV, co-anchored “The European Close” and a show with BNN Canada. On radio she co-anchored “Bloomberg Markets” and “The Bloomberg Advantage.”  She has interviewed U.S. and global central bankers, Presidents, prime ministers and other legislators, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and strategists about macroeconomic themes and controversies, the direction of policy and markets, and the leading stories of the day.

Quinn joined Bloomberg in 2006 after completing an M.A. and M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University, which she attended on a business and financial journalism scholarship from the Lorana Sullivan Foundation. She has been awarded the ABC Frank Reynolds Fellowship, a New York Financial Writers’ Association scholarship, the National University of Ireland’s Travelling Studentship Award, a French Government Medal and a Swiss Government Scholarship.
