Tom Busby
Tom Busby is a syndication reporter for Bloomberg Radio, doing reports for WBZ/Boston, KYW/Philadelphia, and other stations.
Busby has had vast experience in radio and TV before joining Bloomberg in 2019. Formerly, he was the assistant managing editor at CNBC and anchor at CNBC Radio. Before that, he was a longtime presence at NBC News, spending time as the news producer at “Today.” In this capacity, Busby had editorial authority over the morning show’s hourly news segments. He also served as the senior editor for foreign and domestic news coverage for the network.
Prior to NBC News, Busby was a senior manager at WNBC-TV in New York and an assignment editor at New York’s WABC-TV. Tom had news in his blood from the time he was a teenager. As a high school intern at WFAS-AM Radio in White Plains, N.Y., Tom was the first journalist in the nation to report the identity of Jean Harris, the woman arrested for the murder of Dr. Herman Tarnower, author of “The Complete Scarsdale Medical Diet.”
