Lizzy Burden is UK correspondent for Bloomberg TV and Radio. Based in London, she hosts Daybreak Europe on Bloomberg Radio and the daily Bloomberg UK Politics Podcast. Lizzy also writes newsletters and reports on economics and politics for Bloomberg.

She has interviewed major politicians and business leaders including the UK Chancellor, Foreign Secretary, Deputy Prime Minister, FTSE100 CEOs, as well as Nobel laureate economists and Bank of England policymakers. Lizzy has reported on Brexit, the US-China trade war, the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the careers of multiple UK Prime Ministers, and the death of Elizabeth II.  She was named one of MHP’s 30 under 30 journalists for city and business coverage.

Lizzy started in journalism as a graduate trainee at The Times in 2018. Prior to this Lizzy assisted in the production of historical documentary films for National Geographic and PBS while working as an international fashion model. She walked the fashion weeks of New York, London, Milan and Paris.

She graduated in History from the University of Cambridge.
