Lisa Mateo is a New York Emmy Award nominated journalist with a background in television, radio and print news. At Bloomberg, Lisa has served as a correspondent for Bloomberg TV, Radio and its online platform Bloomberg Quicktake. She has also hosted events for Bloomberg Live. Before joining Bloomberg, Lisa worked as a news anchor for CBS News Radio Network and a television correspondent for CBS Newspath. She also spent time as a radio news anchor at iHeartMedia. Lisa’s career in television news kicked off at WPIX in New York where she served as a writer, producer, reporter and news anchor for 18 years. During her time at WPIX, she also hosted the weekly series “Celebrity Taste Makers” and hosted and produced a number of half hour specials, including “Island in Crisis,” an up-close look at the damage sustained by Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. Lisa has also served as host for a number of corporate events as well as a speaker at colleges, corporations, and on the TEDx stage.
