Kailey Leinz is the Washington-based co-anchor of “Bloomberg: Balance of Power”, which airs daily from 1-2pm and 5-6pmET on both TV and radio.
Leinz previously reported for Bloomberg News’ cross-asset team, covering major macro market trends and their intersection within different asset classes.
Kailey Leinz is the Washington-based co-anchor of “Bloomberg: Balance of Power”, which airs daily from 1-2pm and 5-6pmET on both TV and radio. She also is the co-host of the weekly television program “Bloomberg Crypto.” Leinz has interviewed high-profile newsmakers, including presidential candidates, administration officials, lawmakers, and regulators.
Leinz began her career at Bloomberg’s New York headquarters in 2017 and relocated to Washington in early 2023. She previously was a correspondent at Bloomberg TV and Radio with a primary focus on financial regulation and the intersection of policy and markets. She also previously co-anchored “Bloomberg Surveillance: Early Edition” and “Bloomberg Green”, and served as a markets reporter covering major macro events.
Leinz graduated with honors from the University of Virginia. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and awarded the Bernard Mayes Award for Leadership and Service in Media.
